Locations: Bristol & Manchester 

Purpose of the Programme 

To provide structured support, mentorship, and practical exposure to help participants prepare for solicitor apprenticeship opportunities and develop the skills needed for a successful career in law. 

 

Participants will: 

  • Engage in Mentorship - Paired with mentors from TLT’s Ethnic Diversity Network and an Apprentice Buddy for ongoing guidance. 
  • Attend Employability Workshops Four interactive sessions covering Mock Interviews & STAR Technique, Personal Brand & Professional Behaviours, Confidence & Communication and Commercial Awareness
  • Gain Practical Legal Exposure - Participate in  Legal Workshop and Networking Event, Insight sessions with TLT professionals, and an Application Masterclasses and Assessment Centre preparation. 
  • Develop Career Readiness - Receive tailored support from the Early Careers team in preparation for solicitor apprenticeship applications opening in Autumn 2026. 

 

Eligibility Criteria 

  • Current Year 12 student at school or college. 
  • Member of The Black Apprentice Network or from a Black Heritage background  
  • Demonstrated interest in pursuing a career in law or professional services 
  • Commitment to attend scheduled webinars, workshops, and events
