Get Involved: UK Youth Parliament

The UK Youth Parliament is run by young people, for young people.

The Youth Parliament elects members from all over the country to represent young people on important social issues like education, work and equal rights.

Anyone aged 11-18 in the UK can apply to join. Just like the Prime Minister, you'll need to win votes to get elected and become a Member of Youth Parliament(MYP), but anyone can get involved to support a campaign at any time.

Members meet with local politicians and councillors, organize debates and start their own campaigns. They also get the chance to visit the home of the UK Government and meet in the House of Commons every year.

Getting involved with the youth parliament is a great way to build confidence and learn about social issues, politics and debate. It's also a brilliant way to meet other young people who are passionate about creating change.
