Hi Fares,That is a great question! Here is some information regarding the work-study balance in an apprenticeship. The government mandate is that apprentices spend 80% of the week working and 20% studying therefore, employers typically give 1 day off in the week for an apprentice for studying. In my case, that day is spent going to university and doing lectures and labs. However, for some apprentices, they have the day off to do online training or studying how they want to. For other apprentices, they work 5 days a week for a few weeks and then have a week off to study. This is called a block release.
