Hi, between uni and apprenticeships, what would be a 'better' option to start a mechanics career?

Hi Oskar,Thank you for your question. If you are aspiring to become a mechanic, I would strongly recommend doing an apprenticeship as well as visiting your local garages and seeing if you can volunteer there or even get a part time job to build experience for when you apply for an apprenticeship. A mechanic's job is very hands on so an apprenticeship is perfect for this and I am sure you will learn a lot and benefit from this. I hope this was useful and if you have anymore questions, I am more than happy to answer this!Ishraq
