I am planning to get an apprenticeship in the military but also have been given good offers from Universities which ones should I pursue?
Hi Ethan,In certain situations, I think doing an apprenticeship can be more beneficial than going to University. If you are confident of the career path you would like to go down than it would definitely be more beneficial, because gaining a university degree means your job opportunities can be quite varied whereas an apprenticeship can put you down a particular career pathway. The benefits of completing an apprenticeship is that you will not have any student debt, are paid a salary and will have gained 3/4 years work experience. However, it isn't easy balancing working full-time and completing a degree. Overall I think an apprenticeship would be more beneficial if you are confident of the career path you would like to go down!
