When doing an apprenticeship, does the company you work for pay to cover exams?

In the context of actually paying for the examinations - yes, the apprenticeship scheme covers the costs of [link removed] can differ slightly (usually on a contractural basis) for re-sits. A firm will not usually provide reimbursement for expenses incurred in getting to and from the exams (travel etc) unless this has been contractually agreed with them or on a discretionary basis.
