Hi Yamin,There are many routes and pathways to enter the engineering industry. If you are applying to sixth form, it is worth doing STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) A levels such as Maths, Physics and other science and maths subjects. The grade requirements for A levels for engineering degree apprenticeships typically range from ABB to CCC. However, this is only the case for degree apprenticeships. If you apply to a Level 3/4 engineering apprenticeship, you would just need GCSE qualifications. Alternatively, if you are applying for engineering at university, the grade requirements for A levels range from A*A*A* to DDD. Overall, the GCSE requirements for all of these are 5 GCSEs at grade 5 or above which includes maths, english and potentially [link removed] sure you also sign up to extra curricular programmes which have a focus in STEM subjects to build your experience. It is worth even joining things like your student body and other clubs to build your soft skills. One thing you could also do is develop your own engineering project at sixth form which will allow you to showcase all types of skills needed in the workplace. It is also worth seeking in person work experience in the industry when you are in year 12 or 13 so that you build skills and experiences for your applications. Engineering can be quite tough but if you have the passion and discipline to work hard to make your way into the industry, it can be very [link removed] hope that was useful and feel free to ask any more questions and I'd be more than happy to answer them :)Ishraq
