Cyber Security Degree Apprenticeship

Watch Topic

I was wondering what a cyber security degree apprenticeship would entail, whether it would be mainly paperwork or computer based-work, and if you have any assessment centre tips that would be great. Thanks

The DTS cyber apprenticeship includes programming if that’s what you mean. Just as much as other specialisms for first 2 years, but last 2 years, is more network focused, so not sure whether you are coding so much, but it will be largely computer/networking machine based. I doubt many things are physical paperwork due to where we are with technology as humans, but cyber security in practice has significantly more focus on producing policies & documentation than software engineering because currently most software engineering teams work in agile and one of the agile principles to minimise documentation as much as possible (which makes it a bit difficult for new starters at times😅)
