How to answer “Why commercial law” questions.

I need help perfecting my answer as criminal law for example is easier to apply to questions. As it’s more humanistic.

If this is on an application, really try and think about why you would want to do commercial law. Do you have an interest in businesses? Do you like transactional processes? Do you understand profitability and how businesses work. Try to make it personal to your experiences. For example if you’ve worked in a cafe or a chain store as a part time job, you could discuss your interest in how the business worked, how they make money and how law could help them achieve their key objectives.

Just to clarify (Jordan's answer sums up commercial law perfectly!) - Criminal law is not Commercial law! Commercial law is all about businesses and how they operate whereas criminal law isn't something many firms offering solicitor apprenticeships actually do!
