Careers in TV

Is there a preferred way for young people to get into television production?  College courses, university? And are there many places for students wishing to d a Higher Apprenticeship after A Levels?

Hi Julie. No. Its not like teacher or doctor - you have to find your own way. There are three main routes however: Uni: there are plenty of media and TV production courses. You can follow up credits on the back of TV shows you like and deluge them with your CV. And some employers like the BBC (and Channel 4, Sky etc) run entry level schemes - aimed at school leavers and grads to help you in. go to [Link removed] for more details on our opportunities. We recruit annually (taking 50+ production apprentices this year across the UK). Applications for this year now closed. @BBCGetIn
