Yes Network Rail does work experience. Ask your teacher to get in touch with us if you are interested.

what is the biggest project you have worked with?

I worked in the Crossrail project (in London) for about 6 years. This is one of the largest civil projects in Europe, with a brand new tunnel creating a new link across London east to west. My job was to define and supervise the deployment of the telecom networks for the surface part of the project (to the west, north east and south east of London). Telecoms also looks after stations (CCTV, public announcement systems, and information displays).
