How much do you get payed for being a lawyer?

Hi @14friday-p. The average salary for a lawyer is £48,000 according to the website Payscale, although you'll start on quite a bit less. Bear in mind that lawyer is quite a broad term and can include quite different jobs, but the 2 main types are solicitor and barrister.

If you're interested in a career as a solicitor, you should read up on solicitor apprenticeships - you'll get an LLB (law degree) with tuition fees paid while you train in a paid job, so it's worth considering as an alternative to doing a law degree at uni:
