Hi how can I get some work experience at a freight depot, how old do you have to be please?

Hi Tom, this will very much depend on the type of work you're interested in experiencing. Generally, at Freightliner, any work experience requests would be directed to the relevant management team who would assess whether they had sufficient resources to make it a meaningful and safe placement, ensuring that working time legislation for young people is complied with.

My long term ambition is to be a freight train driver. I'm looking for a way in and would be happy starting at the bottom.
