Women in Construction

Hello, Atkins are trying very hard to showcase that engineering is for all. We are very active on social media channels such as Twitter, Facebook and regularly ask our current female engineers / apprentices / graduates to post pictures, videos and information around what it is like to be a female in the engineering / construction sector. We also run 'women in engineering' events and throughout our job descriptions, website content etc. try to keep it gender neutral. We appreciate that the old stigma is however still in place and we hope to continue to drive internally the importance of encouraging females to look at a career within engineering / STEM.
