RTPI (Royal Town Planning Institute)

RTPI is the UK’s leading membership body for town planners, supporting the development of sustainable, safe and well-designed communities. They promote high standards in planning education and professional practice. RTPI helps young people access planning careers through apprenticeships delivered in partnership with local authorities, consultancies and universities.

For students interested in geography, sustainability, architecture or community development, RTPI pathways open the door to meaningful careers shaping places.

Apprenticeships include: town planning technician (Level 4) and chartered town planner (Level 7)  offered via partnered employers across the UK.
