Apprenticeships

Apprenticeships are a brilliant way to qualify in a profession for those who don’t want to go to university.

With an ACCA Apprenticeship you can earn while you learn by combining practical work experience and study. You’ll be employed in a relevant finance-related job where you’ll learn from real-life situations, get paid and study for a globally-recognised qualification, as well as gain the:

  • Knowledge and technical abilities needed for a rewarding career in finance – from financial analysis and tax, to auditing and digital accounting
  • Skills and behaviours that top employers look for
  • Expertise and confidence to add value to any organisation in any industry
  • First step on the ladder to becoming an ACCA member and future business leader.

How do ACCA Apprenticeships work?

Apprenticeships are fully funded, so there are no tuition fees to consider and because you’ll be working, you’ll earn a salary too. Apprenticeships also combine technical training from an external training provider with on-the-job experience and some assessments.

ACCA Apprenticeships are offered at two levels in England:

  • ACCA Accountancy Technician Apprenticeship – Level 4
  • ACCA Professional Accountant Apprenticeship – Level 7

ACCA Apprenticeships are offered at three levels in Scotland:

  • Foundation Apprenticeship (FA) in Accountancy
  • Modern Apprenticeship (MA): Accounting Technician Apprenticeship
  • Scottish Graduate Degree Apprenticeship (GA)

Where can an ACCA Apprenticeship take me?

From helping charities to maximise their funding and advising clients how to best invest their finances, to becoming a senior leader for a global car, cosmetics or fashion brand, ACCA Apprenticeships build the solid foundations for a successful future. You’ll be well on your way to becoming an ACCA member too – opening up a whole host of career opportunities.
