Are degree apprenticeships viewed slightly less favourably than a full time degree?

Hi Finn3,I don’t think degree apprenticeships would be less favoured by employers because after you have completed your degree apprenticeship you will have gained up to four years work experience in your company, in comparison to university leavers who may have only completed a short internship or have no work experience. Many degree apprenticeships are provided by Russel Group universities who partner with prestigious companies! As part of your training programme you will likely undertake additional Financial qualifications, which will be great additions to your CV and open more opportunities in the future! For example, as part of my degree apprenticeship we will gain the CISI Level 4 Investment Operations certificate, the Level 3 CISI Capital Markets certificate, and have the option to undertake CFA Level 1.
