What should I be looking to do to improve an apprenticeship application for tech?

Is there anything which I should try and work on and improve early on?

Hi Che,It depends what you have already on your application. If you have the required grades and subjects for the company's requirements then I'd suggest your CV and cover letter are concise and clear on how your knowledge/XP will; enable you to be a good apprentice and show that you have a clear understanding of the journey you will go on [link removed] "A-Level Student -> Apprentice -> Software Engineer in Specific Field". Make it clear you know what is required, because although companies give you the chance to take the degree, it'll be more encouraging for them to know what type of position you hope to go into and where that fits in to their plans. Early careers may not see that much, but a hiring manager will👍Additionally, with knowledge of the type of role you want to end up in, you're more likely to be successful if you apply to a company which suits your aspirations. I'm not sure about what you'd want to improve early - potentially do projects on topics you're interested about that would be good and have some basic knowledge on market/industry [link removed] a company project that aligns with your interests as a tech apprentice will be good for interview conversations as well
