How huge is the transition from A-levels to apprenticeship?

Watch Topic

I am quite concerned on how huge the change is from A-Levels to apprenticeship. I am a student who currently does not do computer science for a level, however i study maths. Is this gonna effect the difficulty of me doing an apprenticeship.

As someone who took 0 technical a levels but started on a technical apprenticeship I would say it won’t affect the difficulty of you doing an apprenticeship as the apprenticeship provider will teach your cohort all the technical skills, information etc that you need for your [link removed] definitely is a huge change from a levels to apprenticeships as you shift from a structured academic environment to a professional workplace setting.( You’ll manage your calendar, study requirements, and deadlines independently, You’ll work with colleagues of different ages, seniority , and levels of experience etc)But the transition is completely supported and your company and apprenticeship provider will give you a support system (mentors, learning coach, buddies etc). But this is completely normal and your manager and team understand this and have the skills to support you. Also as an apprentice no one expects you to know everything when joining. The main thing is that you are there to learn and get hands on experience which everyone supports 😊
