How to get pass an apprenticeships application stage

I'm having trouble getting past the application stage of apprenticeships. I'm just confused because my grades aren't bad and some don't even ask for a CV so how am I meant to stand out.

Hi, Please don’t be deterred by rejections. It’s all part of the game and I genuinely believe it’s a numbers game. Apply to as many as you can! As for how to get past, extra curricular activities that display you are a team player and have other soft skills should help you.
