Rather than trying to second guess on GCSEs needed, you may want to contact your local Army/Navy/RAF recruitment office and discuss things with them there. If you are curently taking GCSEs, they will certainly be looking at a 5 or above standard with all the subjects you take. What subjects to take after your GCSEs is probably more significant than GCSE grades, so if you have not already done so, use the Navy recruitment website to look at the roles within the Navy and this could give you an indication of the subjects you may need, and the grades required.
