I’m looking to find a placement for work experience in preferably a physics or chemistry. I’m having trouble finding jobs are there any suggestions?
Every day engineers and technologists make use of the science they first studied at school - in particular physics and chemistry. Look for engineering companies and then drill down on what they offer. [link removed] for our offers. SEMTA is also a good website for signposting STEM related work experiences near you (based on post code)

Hi Jamie,
With the introduction of electric vehicles and driverless technology the physics element of the automotive industry might be something that you would like to consider. Many of the Volkswagen Group dealerships take work experience placements. If this would be of interest to you please email your location to [email removed] and we will be able to tell you where your nearest opportunity is and give you further information on our apprentice opportunities
