I would recommend the use of social media. Get them to follow engineering / construction companies on Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook etc. By doing this they can visually see some of the exciting projects and work that goes on in the sector, hopefully helping them to understand how rewarding a career in this area can be. Youtube is also a great channel to watch videos and learn more about the industry.
On the Atkins website we also have many profiles / testimonials that might be of interest to the students.
