What level is the best to take for an electrical apprenticeship?

The best level of apprenticeship to take for an electrical apprenticeship is honestly up to you and your abilities. If you are someone who wants to be hands on straight away and a lot more interested in the physical work around electrical engineering, then a level 3/4 apprenticeship may be best for you. However, if you're more interested in desk-based work with some practical work, then it is worth looking into a level 6 apprenticeship as it is the same level as a university degree. That being said, you could also do a level 3/4 apprenticeship and do a level 6 apprenticeship afterwards. The academic requirements for a level 3/4 apprenticeship would typically require GCSEs and maybe A levels or BTECs or T Levels. However, for a level 6 apprenticeship, it definitely requires both GCSE and A Level/ BTECs/ T Levels or some form of level 3 qualification related to the STEM field beforehand.
