Hi Ebenezer,Thank you for your question! The subjects you need to pass to become a mechanical engineer vary based on the role and level of apprenticeship you apply to. For example, if you apply to a level 3 apprenticeship, they may expect you to do well in maths and science subjects. Whereas if you apply to a level 4, 5, 6 or 7 apprenticeship, they may expect you to have completed A levels or BTECs in STEM subjects such as Maths, Physics, Further Maths, Chemistry, D&T, Engineering etc. It entirely depends in what you apply to so I would suggest looking into the entry requirements of the different apprenticeships you apply to. I hope this was useful and I wish you all the best for the future!Ishraq

To become a mechanical engineer, you’ll usually study subjects like mathematics (calculus and differential equations), physics, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, material science, and engineering drawing/CAD. These courses help you understand how machines work, how energy is transferred, and how to design mechanical systems. You’ll also do lab work and projects to apply what you learn in real [link removed] students joke under pressure and say things like Take my SIE exam for me, but in reality, success comes from consistent study and practice, especially in math and core engineering subjects.
