The reason is that what you learn in theory can sometimes be different from what you experience in a real workplace. For example, going to a strong university and also gaining experience through internships, placements, volunteering, projects, or part-time work gives you a real [link removed] for me, I wouldn’t say one is always better than the other. It depends on the career path, the industry, and what the employer is looking for. But generally, I believe experience gives you a strong edge because it shows that you can apply your knowledge in real situations.
