Currently I do not do very much outside of school, so do you have any advice on how to improve my university application despite this.

I would take some time to think about what your passions are. If you are not involved in many extracurriculars such as sports, debate, student council/school clubs, then I would think about what interests you most, or think about your skills. Perhaps you particularly enjoy reading, art and other fine [link removed] found it particularly helpful to get some work experience over the summer between year 12 and 13. There are also programmes that you can get involved in before you submit applications. I would look into those, including MOOCs because you can discuss these in your application too. Universities tend to offer programmes or summer courses, so its worth looking into [link removed] can also talk about any key projects you have completed in school. For example, when I was in school, I had to plan and lead a netball lesson for my sports class, and it allowed me to demonstrate leadership. It might feel like you 'dont do much' but I am certain you have a wealth of experiences and you just need to spend some time pulling them all out! And its not too late to get some experience 🙂
