Hi Darpana,Good question. You don't necessarily need work experience to apply for and become an apprentice. However, it may help to volunteer at any type of workplace to help you show that you have developed soft skills and aware of some of the soft skills you'd like to develop. The experience doesn't need to be science-related, for example, to get into a scientific apprenticeship. I'd recommend any type of experience that will help you work on your time management, independence and team building, just to name a few. These are common, transferable skills across industries, so will help to potentially make you stand [link removed]'s important for me to mention that I did not have work experience prior to landing my role. I did have 2 jobs beforehand, but I'd consider those separate to work experience. Hope that helps!
