Hi,Engineering employers look for strong technical basics, good problem‑solving skills, clear communication, and a positive, professional attitude. Students can start developing these by really understanding their coursework, getting practical experience where possible, working well in teams, practising explaining their ideas clearly, and showing curiosity and willingness to [link removed] may want to look for any engineering competions or extrcurrilar activties that involve these skills such as a club at school. I did a summer week long workshop to understand the backgorund of civil engineering, which built my techncial skills. I was also a prefect and tutor, which helped my leadership and communication skills. I was also a member a sports team which developed my [link removed] this helps,Abi
