It's the soft skills that you necessarily don't think make that big of a difference or you might think a trivial based on where you pick them up. For instance, if you did pick it up at a part-time job, you might think that they're not relevant. But especially at an apprentices level, you're not expected to have done loads. No one's expecting you to have spent months over the summer working at a law firm or anything like that. Obviously going to insight events and being able to say that you've been to events like the one hosted by Success at School are going to help you because it shows that you have an understanding of what an apprenticeship actually is, and you're not just looking from the outside and people often have a lot of misconceptions about what law really is, especially in the [link removed] those are the things that are going to make you stand out is anything that's beyond your academics is great. At the very least, it's a conversation topic for an interview, whether that's an icebreaker or also something that you might bond over with your interviewer if you get to that [link removed] are anything that gives you those marginal differences over other applicants is going to be beneficial to you.
