What can I do to make my CV stand out?

Try to have some relevant experience for the role you're applying for even if its not work experience. Show that you're interested in the subject the job involves. Do a project or some learning outside of school. There are so many free online courses that cover all sorts of different topics. The best advice I got is to imagine everyone has your same subjects and grades, what are you doing that's different?

Hi Joan, I would recommend organising it into clear sections - experience, grades, other skills and hobbies, and a short sentence about yourself at the top of the page. It may not make it necessarily 'stand out' against others for this reason on its own, but a clear CV is much more likely to make an impact. Similarly to what Alice mentioned, it is good to list 'other skills and hobbies.' For example, you may be involved in sports, other regular activities, perhaps charity work, caring for the elderly etc. These kinds of things demonstrate the kind of person you are, which is just as important as your experience!
