I really want to do an apprenticeship, but I'm worried I'll miss out on uni life and making friends.

I live in Bristol, and want to become a lawyer so I was wondering what the social life for an apprentice looks like? Do you feel like you're missing out?

Hey, firstly the social life is not affected in my opinion. Obviously you will probably get a few less social events going on than what you would at Uni, but so far in the six months i have been in the apprenticeship, there has been a number of events available with my department and also the early careers team. This involves going to different venues, which are paid for, in Bristol and having a good time. Further to this, due to being supported with a salary, i have felt i can do things i enjoy outside work a lot more without thinking heavily on budgeting. Secondly, if your main goal is to become a lawyer and perhaps stay in Bristol, then i think this is a great opportunity. Feel free to ask anymore questions about this :)
