How do you manage studying and working during your apprenticeship? Do you get given study days?

Hey, depending on your scheme varies how you get your study day. For me I get one day a week (Fridays) to focus on uni work and not have to have any work related calls. Some schemes have an in-person day every week but the most typical structure is one day a week, working on assignments or receiving lectures online :)

The idea is that apprentices get 20% of their time off for study (usually 1 day each week). It varies because universities or training providers can have set study schedules where they require you to be in for a week at a time to learn the content. So yes, we do have study days and that helps to manage the workload. There is a great support system too - if you feel you have taken on too much, you can reach out to your manager or mentor who can help to prioritise tasks.
