I am year 13 wanting to pursue biomedical engineering or medical physics. I wanted to know what experience or extra courses/reading I can do to better my applications and increase chances of getting offers. Also if there are apprenticeship routes instead

Hi Diya, Thanks for your question. if you are interested in biomedical engineering, you can look for workshops and webinars that are about biomedical engineering. you can also look for companies who have biomedical engineers and check if they do or work experience to understand a bit more about the career. you can also look on social media and find people in that career and see what they get up to on the day to day if it’s something you are interested [link removed] this helps, Abi
