Universities offer open days to help students think about studying a Degree course. Could there be an opportunity for our students to participate in employer insight days to give them an idea of the environment and the different career opportunities?
At PwC we do run a Business Insight Week, which is a work experience opportunity for students studying their A-levels to get a feel for the business, and learn more about both Higher Apprenticeship and Graduate opportunities. We find this to be a very well subscribed and successful programme. Unfortunately, we can't offer a full week to everyone who applies, but where possible we still offer a half day in the office to network with different people from the business, attend some employability and interview skills sessions and generally have a look around. Again, this is very popular, and the feedback we get from students is incredibly positive. I'd really encourage schools who are interested in offering students this opportunity to contact us, so we can keep you updated with when and where these programmes will be running.
Thank you for your comment and it sounds great! Please could you email me on [email removed] as I would like to forge a link and promote this fantastic opportunity to our students.
Hi Dan
We have students who would love to attend the half day sessions you run. What is the best way to contact you?

Hi.
We run an initiative called I [link removed] Ambassadors are people who work in social care who also deliver careers activities. Some of our ambassadors offer workplace experiences such as insight days. You can find and contact your local ambassador at [link removed]
There's also care home open day coming up in June where care homes open their doors to the public. If you have a group interested in social care you could visit your local care home and see what it's like.
Hope this helps. Jenna
Hi, we run a number of insight days called Discover EY for Year 11 & 12, where students are able to find out more about what it's like to work at EY and they have an opportunity to network, take part in interactive sessions, teambuilding exercises and panel discussions with current apprentices.
We also run a week long programme called the Business Academy for year 12 students. It's a great way for students to work out if an Apprenticeship is right for you. You can find out about both programmes here: https://ukcareers.ey.com/schools/how-to-apply
We partner with Investment 2020 (They have a profile on this site). Students can sign-up for free and receive invites to Insight Events at a range of Investment Management firms. School/College students studying towards our qualifications also have access to bespoke events in half-term. Students get to network with practitioners, find out about different job roles in in the industry and the school-leaver, apprenticeship and graduate opportunities available in the industry.
Hi - Bank of America Merrill Lynch also run a number of insight days for Year 12 & 13 students, called Future Insights. These events develop students' employability skills and offer an excellent opportunity to learn more about the variety of career options available within an investment bank. Students take part in interactive skills sessions and hear directly from our graduates about their career journey to date. - See more at: [link removed]
