Hi there,A week in my life varies massively depending on the month, but generally:Monday and Tuesday are often planning days, where I plan the experimental work for the week, so that it's all easy to follow when the time comes to carry it out. I will also make sure I have wrapped up any tasks from the following week, like important emails or recordkeeping. There are often meetings on these days [link removed] and Thursday are usually experiment-heavy days, where I spend hours in the lab each day carrying out various work that is needed for projects. Most of my time is spent in the lab, and then afterwards, analysing [link removed] is a more calm day, where it's often meeting-heavy. I'll recap the week with my manager, as well as discuss the week ahead. If needed, I'll try to wrap up any emails and recordkeeping tasks, but if not, I push it to Monday if I have the [link removed], 1 day a week I stay at home to work on university studies (because I'm a degree apprentice), so this is spent attending virtual lectures and revising and/or working on coursework. This is flexible, and I take the day off when I am the least busy at work, to minimise impact. Hope that helps.
