How can I prepare for video interviews?

Watch Topic

I am in Year 13 applying for degree apprenticeships in engineering and tech. After making a couple of applications already I have found video interviews to be the stage where I struggle the most. Please could you give me advice on how I can prepare for these video interviews properly and how to stand out from other candidates?

None of us had any previous experience in such a project”.Task- “We had to work out how we were going to build this car in time for the race while ensuring we passed regulations and had a well-performing car”.Action- “We set out a plan and divided the team into sub teams. I led the aerodynamics and body team to make the car as aerodynamically efficient as possible.  One of the key things we focused on was meeting regulations and reducing our weight as much as we could. We worked together to meet weekly objectives and create the final product”.Result + Reflection- “We finally produced a reliable and fast car and won the finals to make ourselves and our school proud.”I hope this was useful and I am more than happy to respond to any follow up questions that you may [link removed]
