Hi Aoife!Throughout school and sixth form I was always drawn to subjects which required a lot of analysis and reflection, and wanted to carry that through into my studies. I knew that law was an area which would engage my critical thinking and allow me to explore complicated topics in great depth, and form well-reasoned conclusions which were informed by my own opinions, so I had an interest in pursuing an LLB. I then decided that an apprenticeship was the best option for me, because it would give me the opportunity to also practice the law, at a time when positions for graduates are extremely competitive, and give me hands-on experience to compliment the material I would be learning through studying
