Hi Melissa,If by "start" you mean to "find and get accepted" into an apprenticeship, then I can say that finding them wasn't too hard. I found 3 that interested me and were all within pharmaceutical science, as well as all being close by. In terms of the application process, they all follow similar structures - virtual test (like a maths & english capability test rolled into one), pre-recorded interview, and then an in-person assessment centre. Depending on the company, they may do multiple interviews. From there, I was fortunate to be accepted into 2/3 of my applications, however, this is incredible RARE, and most people will find that they have to send off, say, 20+ applications before they get their first "yes". So take my story with a pinch of salt. However, I think that by taking your time to apply and write a good CV, as well as prepare well for interview questions, you can beat the curve and have better chances than the [link removed] that helps.
