It took me up to 8 months of applications, assessment centres, interviews etc when I was in year 13 which tends to be the time when the vast majority of people apply (not always the case). Then also getting the grades to meet the requirements takes another 3-4 months during exam season. Both of these however are relative to you and very much depend on how long it takes for you to get an offer and then to meet grade requirements but for the majority that timeline tends to be [link removed] for what made me want to pursue this career, I have held a strong interest in finance, banking, markets etc from the age of 14 or so hence made me quite passionate and driven towards this from early on. One thing I will say is don't be too concerned about this, banking & finance as a whole is very diverse and there are many many teams within a banking & finance that can suit your career interests [link removed] if you enjoy sports there are sports finance teams within banks etc
