Work experience is not mandatory, but it can be helpful. especially for competitive roles!If you have volunteered, done part time jobs, or school projects that involve numbers or teamwork These are ALL valuable. You can also just show a genuine interest in the industry through research or even shadowing or getting an internshipHigher level apprenticeships like degree apprenticeships may expect some relevant background such as Alevels or prior internships/work experience in similar environments.
