Good Q and it really depends. The larger 'magic / silver circle' type firms do tend to pay more but often that can come with higher expectations and longer hours. I would focus more on finding a firm you think fits with your values. Ask yourself what more do they have to bring than just [link removed] worked at a large international firm and decided to move to a smaller high-street type firm because of work-life balance etc.
