Hi HM26, LinkedIn can be a bit frustrating when the people you want to connect with aren’t in your network or you can’t see their full profiles. What’s helped me is making sure my own profile is honest and shows what I’m about, so if someone does look me up, they get a good sense of me. I’ve also joined some accountancy and finance groups where you can chat with people even if you’re not connected directly. I’m not afraid to send a quick, friendly message when I add someone, just saying I’m keen to learn and would love to connect. And if I can’t message them right away, I just engage with their posts or follow their company - it’s all about being consistent and genuine. It’s a bit of a slow build but definitely worth it!Hope this helps.
