How much of an emphasis do they put on having prior banking work experience in the Banking industry when applying for apprenticeships?

When applying for apprenticeships in the banking industry, prior banking work experience is generally not required or heavily emphasized. In fact, one of the main purposes of an apprenticeship is to train people who are new to the industry, including school leavers, career changers, or those with little to no experience in banking.
