Hi there,A day in my life can be quite varied, but a week in my life is a little bit more consistent, so I'll answer with that if that's [link removed] example, two of the five working days might be spent doing an "assay", which is like an experiment where you have a specific outcome you're looking to test. These assays are typically hours-long and must be done at once, but sometimes there will be incubation time where you can go off and have a break. After these assays, I have to scientifically write up what work I just carried out and display my data analysis. This is then recorded on a company-wide software that is used for recordkeeping and data integrity, as well as in the future in case something gets patented. For another 1-2 days of the week, it will be spent planning the assays I've mentioned above, as well as planning more general, larger-scale pieces of work or personal development. I've kept that vague because this can be flexible [link removed], the remaining day of the week is reserved for university work, which I do remotely from home. This is standard university-grade work, and the modules depend on the course you're taking of [link removed] all my days, there's plenty of coffee breaks and walks around the office to keep my mind and legs fresh! I've missed out mentioning all the meetings I have throughout the week, but I'm sure that's not what you were looking to [link removed] that helps!
