Hi Sara! The benefit of an apprenticeship to an employer is that they get to spend a lot longer developing your skills, and helping you to become well trained in their business. From a solicitor apprenticeship perspective, apprentices will train with the firm for 6 years, as opposed to graduates who would train for 2-3 years before qualifying. I hope this answers your question!
