Hi, My day typically starts with a cup of coffee on the train, I get to the office for around 8:30am and have a quick chat while getting set up at my desk. The role I am in at the moment is very data driven and therefore, a lot of my day is spent on excel compiling, analysing, and creating reports for senior management. I also work a lot with our third party vendors to manage one of our products and ensure consistent service for colleagues and clients. I typically finish the day around 5:30 and have a chat with colleagues before going home around 6.
Hi Georgia, I work on a technical helpdesk for a banking application. I usually start the day by reviewing any issues logged by clients overnight, and I join a meeting with my team to discuss updates on issues and our priorities for the day. My day consists of responding to emails and phone calls from users who are experiencing problems with our platform. I communicate with internal teams such as developers, infrastructure and business teams to resolve complex issues and collaborate with my team by contributing to internal guides so future cases can be handled more efficiently. At the end of my day, I close resolved issues and hand over open cases to colleagues in different time zones such as Asia or South America.
