Do you have any recommendations on how to build experience over the summer after A Levels?

Especially any insight days, internships or general part-time roles would be great. Also would it be too late to apply for an apprenticeship if you decided you didn't want to go to university on results day?

Hi, yes these are all valuable approaches - you can find them just by googling or checking recruitment sites like - [link removed] - is a good choice. Yes it's too late, Job applications finish in January usually to start September, and there's no clearance as far as I'm concered. Degree Apprenticeships are actually more difficult to get into than certain university, although grade requirements are lower. [link removed] Degree Apprenticeships may only have 8-50 students per course/year/company, university may have 200, then of course the fact there are less companies doing apprenticeships than there are universities.

Thank you for the advice! I have tried grad cracker before and I could not find many opportunities catered to Year 13s who just finished A Levels, do you have any other websites you would recommend checking out?

Ah okay, I don't know a specific website for this -> I googled "insight events" and quite a lot came up, PWC have some going - for some reason I can't provide links here so just try to do the same. I am pretty sure the amount of Work XP or internships available for school leavers isn't plentiful, aside from insight events, that why I advise on projects.
