Is/was your apprenticeship worth it?

Do you think doing your apprenticeship was worth doing? Would you have chosen something different if not? Did it help you achieve your career?

I haven't finished yet but in 3rd year I'm very happy. Doing the apprenticeship has helped me build a lot of knowledge and XP in software engineering, which helps me feel confident I can get a job in the industry once completed. Fortunately we're offered jobs at our companies post the apprenticeship so nothing to worry about there too. Also received a Salary I'm super happy with, I'm a career changer so a bit older than others, but there will be 22 year olds, who will have graduated on the same apprenticeship and be on £42k/year outside of London (must be nice🤣)I completed a Chemical Engineering degree before this and from my XP, this is the much better option in my opinion. It is much harder on your time and "freedom" social life etc. but I feel the rewards are justified [link removed] Degree + 4 years XP + No Student Loan "Debt" (for some) + Salary
