Your New Role… 

Warner Bros. is the studio behind the Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts films, The Batman, Dune, Barbie, Wonka and The Matrix films. As part of the EMEA Film Marketing team, you’ll get to develop a thorough understanding of our marketing campaigns across the Europe, Middle East and Africa region and how we maximise the potential of each film release by making sure the audience knows when our film is coming out and why they can’t miss going to the cinema to watch it.  

You’ll be learning all about advertising, media, digital and exhibitor marketing of films with the opportunity to work with our media and creative agencies.

Your Role Accountabilities… 

  • Work alongside our Home Office counterparts to collate markets’ weekly media spend, creative delivery deadlines and strategic highlights. Ensuring all information is gathered before the set deadline. 
  • Work closely with the EMEA finance apprentice to keep all media trackers up to date. Lead on managing release schedule updates, making sure all systems are reflective of any changes. 
  • Work with the EMEA Marketing Graduate Interns on Synergy campaigns with Warner Bros. Discovery’s sister company to monitor localised assets and update trackers. 
  • Key point person for AdStream marketing asset system, updating team on new assets and sharing links. 
  • Work with EMEA Marketing Graduate Interns on weekly research Tag On questions, updating the calendar, working with markets on localisation of questions and sharing with research company NRG. 
  • Pull weekly reports analysing different marketing signals, highlighting key shifts in trends that help inform media strategies. Using different market platforms such as the Google Search Tracker to inform your findings. 
  • One of the first points of contact for general marketing requests and creative approvals. 
  • Assisting in the development of market research questions and tracking key trends in the film industry. 
  • Assisting in the implementation of central trailer blasts, working with markets to ensure that all required information is inputted and confirmed before the set deadline.  
  • Nurturing effective working relationships with key marketing contacts across our 75 EMEA markets, Warner Bros. European HQ and the Los Angeles Home Office. 

Qualifications & Experience… 

  • Our apprenticeship positions are designed to be an alternative to university education, therefore we are only seeking applications from people who have not already graduated from university with a degree.
  • Passion and commitment to go above and beyond to support our team and our fantastic films. 
  • A love of film and the entertainment industry. 
  • Working knowledge of Word and Excel, and some experience of using databases and PowerPoint.
  • Well organised and show excellent attention to detail, with the ability to prioritise workload and use time effectively. 
  • A positive attitude, a calm demeanour and a good telephone manner. 
  • Self-motivated and be able to work with limited supervision. 
  • Basic knowledge of other key European markets and awareness of cultural and commercial differences would be beneficial.
  • Some previous work experience would be advantageous. 

The Apprenticeship...

  • Salary: £20,500 p/a  
  • Contract Length: 18 months   
  • Start Date: 9th September 2024
  • Qualification: Level 3 Business Administration
  • You will gain hands-on experience working on business-critical projects.  
  • You will have access to personal and professional development courses, executive speakers’ series, special screenings and more.  
  • You will be part of our Early Talent network of over 100 interns & apprentices, meaning you will have an important support network of other students, graduates and apprentices and plenty of opportunities to socialise!  

Next Steps… 

  • Stage 1: Submit your CV by Sunday 23rd June (you will not be able to apply after this date). 
  • Stage 2: Shortlisted candidates will be asked to complete a written questionnaire in HireVue. The deadline for this is Sunday 30th June. 
  • Stage 3: Final stage assessment centre will take place in July & August.

Hybrid Working - This role is advertised as a Hybrid work model, that combines remote and in-office work, following our current company policy and to be agreed with your Line Manager. Subject to any applicable laws, WBD / your Line Manager reserves the right to change this working agreement where this is essential to business needs and upon reasonable notice to you.
